What is the best / easiest credit card to get if you have bad credit and are trying to improve it?
- How about getting a Pre - Paid credit card? There is no risk she will run up more credit and yet this type of card will enable her to improve her credit rating
- tell your friend to consider getting one of the "Poor Credit" Credit Cards from CardLister.com they typically have a USD 25 - 50 annual fee, are easy to get approved for, and help improve credit scores. cards include, Continental Finance MasterCard® Continental Finance Gold MasterCard® Rewards 660 Visa® Card direct link to "Poor Credit" Credit Cards: cardlister.com / CreditCards_listX. asp?st=Category&sc=Poor Credit
- you are right when you said that when one is building his credit, he has to start somewhere. there are credit cards that offer deals for people with bad or no credit, may it be secured or unsecured. try to check out the rates and fees of different credit cards, decide which one is right for you. now if you, or in this case your friend has decided on one, try to make the payments on time, do not max out the credit limit, less than 50 percent of the credit limit should be good enough, build a good credit history, the longer you have a good credit standing the better, do not migrate from one card to another. good luck!
- After my divorce I got a Capitol one card with a USD 300. 00 limit. I just barely qualified for an unsecured card but would have gone for the type where you give them USD 200 and that's what you can spend. Anyway make small purchases and pay them completely off the next month and repeat until you have a better score. It worked great for me. I shredded the cards after I got my score back up
- cards. hotusa.org - try this one. I personally use this card. As I know it accepts everyone, even if a person has bad credit
- Capital One Credit Card
- secure credit card, is the easiest card to get, other then perhaps store credit cards. Secure credit card, you actually put money into an account and they match it by certain percent of credit. Which is usally offered by all credit card companies, except American express I think
- Try creditcardopia.com, They have all kinds of cards for any credit situation, even no credit and bad credit
- I would not suggest Capital One or Orchard Bank. The best suggestion I would have to give would be to get a card through your bank. Lots of times you deal with real people and can explain situations, where online or through an offer they ONLY look at your credit report and what you put on the application. Also, you can negotiate a better interest rate with your bank, so instead of paying 23 - 28 or more percent interest on the money, you would only have to pay 9. 9 - 13. 9 percent through the bank. Credit Unions seem to be best becasue of them being smaller banks instead of big franchise banks, becasue again, you can usually do better on the interest rate. Try to get a credit card and stick with the same one. do not open one to use it and then have to transfer balances to several different cards to pay off the balances. Also, one of the most important things is a steady payment schedule. If you make all your payments on time over a period of time, you will start seeing your credit score improve. Research this on the internet. bankrate.com or just type improve credit on your search engine
- Credit card companies are quick to respond to the growing trend of Internet users by offering online credit card application. As you might have noticed, many credit card companies whether online or offline for that matter, announce they offer the best credit card online, even with instant approval if you apply for it on their website. This method allows the applicant to get approval within a few minutes after submitting the online application form at the company website. Although this isn’t truly instant credit card application, it definitely saves some time when compared to the traditional offline process. The approval process takes only a few minutes, but the credit card company will still need to manually mail you the physical card. This may take up to 10 days before you receive it. It could take up to a month or two before you receive your credit card if you apply for one via the more tradition ways. You would have to visit the office of the card company personally or call up the customer service hotline to request for an application form to be mail to you. Then, once you have submitted your supporting documents you will need to wait for a reply as the company runs a check on your credit history. The good thing about applying online for a credit card is that you know if you are approved for it or not within a fairly short time. Another advantage of filling in the application online is that it also allows you the opportunity to compare the cost of credit offered from a lot of different card companies. There are certain limitations on who is eligible for an instant online credit card application approval. Most instant credit card application offers are targeted to people with good credit records. The compe ion on the credit market is so high today, that some companies are willing to include people with less than fantastic credit scores in order to get customers. The bottom line is that even if your credit history is not so good, you have the ability obtain an instantly approved credit card. So regardless to what your credit rating is, there is no reason not to use an instant credit card application. Your credit card application will usually get approved instantly if you maintain a healthy and excellent credit history. However that does not mean that your application will be rejected if you credit history is less than perfect. With so much compe ion going around in the credit card industry, many companies are willing to take the risk and accept applicants with average credit history. Some of them even provide a card for those people with bad credit. Before submitting your application online, take the time to do some research. Make sure you visit a legitimate credit card directory to compare card information first. Compare cards and consider the benefits that you want to receive as you do your research. You will also want to read the terms and conditions, yes I know they are enough to put you to sleep, at least once. The important items to take note of are annual fees, interest rate during the introductory period, interest rate after the introductory period, length of grace period and minimum payment amount. Pay particular attention to late payment fees and other unusual penalties. Call up the respective credit card customer service department if you have doubts or any queries with the terms and conditions. Take to time to get the card you want that will serve you the best. loan - house. we. bs / creditcards.html loan - house. blogspot.com / search / label / Credit percent20Cards
- try orchardbank.com or capital one. those two might give you a card without it being secured. a secured card is not going to improve your credit as fast as a non secured one will. Your limit might be low like 300 so do not go over 100 with it and use it once a month and pay if off in full each month Over time few months of ontime payments they will increase your limit and in about a year your credit could be in the 600's
